I’ve only gone and done it – the new fashion designer portfolio is finally live! 📣 This has been an exciting journey, curating the best of my work to highlight where I’m heading. With a career as a fashion designer spanning over two decades, it’s no small feat to capture everything, so I focused on recent projects that reflect my evolving niche and the direction I’m most passionate about.

Redefining My Niche in 2024
This portfolio update marks a pivotal moment in my career. I’m refining my niche, narrowing in on categories that best highlight my expertise. Over the years, I’ve designed everything from menswear and streetwear to sports lifestyle, activewear, ski, outdoor wear, and technical clothing. While my experience is broad, I’m leaning more into sportswear, performance clothing, and technical activewear – areas that blend design, functionality, and innovation. These are the core pillars of my 2024 Fashion Design Portfolio.

Selecting the Highlights: Key Projects That Define My Portfolio
Curating this portfolio was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. From designing for global names like Umbro, Puma, and Adidas to helping niche startups take off, each project has its own story. In the 2024 update, you’ll find a mix of sportswear, teamwear, mood boards, colour schemes, and detailed tech packs. Here are some standout highlights:
- Umbro Football Teamwear: Creating football teamwear for Umbro was a natural fit given my passion for the sport. Designing for teams combines the spirit of the sport with each team’s unique identity, achieving a powerful blend of function and style.
- Performance Wear for Outdoor Brands: This category highlights my skills in technical clothing, where the focus is on creating durable, stylish pieces suitable for all conditions.
- Activewear with Precision CAD and Tech Pack Designs: A central part of my portfolio, these pieces showcase the high attention to detail that goes into every design.
Each project was chosen to reflect where I see my brand heading. Some categories, like denim and casualwear, didn’t make the cut in this portfolio update. Although I enjoyed working on these pieces, I felt it was essential to focus on my core niche.

A Few Notable Omissions
Creating this 2024 Fashion Design Portfolio involved some tough decisions. I chose to leave out older projects, including some big names like Puma, Adidas, Timberland, and Next. While I’m proud of my work for these brands, they no longer align with the direction I want to pursue. Some of these projects even predate social media, making high-quality visuals hard to source!
Another notable omission was my work on body armour and bulletproof vests. Although rewarding, this line of work can be hard for people to connect with, so I’ve chosen to keep the focus on accessible apparel.
Reflections on the Journey
Compiling this portfolio reminded me of the diversity of projects I’ve been lucky enough to work on – from performance wear to protective gear and for brands of every size. This experience has given me a unique perspective on what I want to pursue, clarifying the direction for the next stage in my career.
