Rolf Skeldon – Sustainable Luxury Menswear Joggers and Shorts

Rolf Skeldon – Sustainable Luxury Menswear Joggers and Shorts

Project Overview

For the 2025 season I created fully bespoke mens joggers and shorts for Rolf Skeldon. The brief focused on sustainability, provenance and refined everyday wear. I led design research and trend direction, produced detailed CADs and technical packs, and worked with UK makers through sampling to achieve comfort, movement and quality. This project strengthens the brand story around responsible materials and local production.

Outcome

The result is a cohesive menswear capsule that balances ease, durability and a calm aesthetic. Construction choices support long term wear, while fabric selection keeps a soft hand feel with structure where needed. The products align with the brand focus on responsible design and local craft.

Design Challenges and Solutions

Key challenges included creating storage that felt discreet and secure, and setting a relaxed fit that still reads premium. I resolved this through concealed zip entries at hand pockets, neat cargo pocket flaps, and a balanced rise and leg shape tested over sampling rounds.
